The truth: I am self-taught! Fascinated by images and life scenes offered at every moment, I extend my gaze at the end of my brushes and lay on the canvas what I see, what I feel. My journey, rich in encounters and travels, has given me the chance to discover this passion, which today, keeps me in perpetual desire to write through painting, as much the smile of a child as the voluptuous slap of the wave. Nothing is set in stone, my painting evolves and takes with it all the moods of the world. Yesterday, I didn't know that today and tomorrow I would be painting. So I paint. Pleasure Sharing Etc … MD

Alexy Louis Garnier exhibition at the Galerie Casablu in Valbonne

Photographer Alexy Louis Garnier is exhibiting his work at the Galerie Casablu in Valbonne from 29 April to 6 May 2024. The opening will take place on Saturday 4 May at 5.30pm at the gallery. I invite visitors to immerse themselves in this immersive experience and discover a different America, seen through the prism of art. The choice of the United States as the main subject of this exhibition stems from a desire to capture the very essence of this country, which stands out for its monumental scale, innovative architecture and striking contrasts. A visual immersion into the heart of the United States, captured through the lens of my precious talents. Ideal for exploring the different facets of iconic cities such as New York, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and Chicago, as well as the western style of the American West. The Provençal art gallery in Valbonne provides a warm and authentic setting for this exhibition. Imbued with the characteristic charm of Provence, it creates a harmonious contrast with the captivating shots of the United States. Alexy Louis Garnier

A review by yesicannes.com At the Hôtel du Clos*** in Le Rouret, Annik and Guy Garnier invited the artists IcKasso and Alexy-Louis Garnier to spend a weekend in a calm and soothing haven of greenery. The summer art exhibition held on 17 and 18 June 2023 in this haven of calm and greenery in Le Rouret featured works by sculptor and painter IcKasso and photographer Alexy-Louis Garnier. In symbiosis with its verdant surroundings, this superb open-air exhibition invited visitors to take a fresh look at this exceptional green setting dotted with works of art as they strolled through the countryside, facing the majestic 19th-century stone bastide.

Through her painted sculptures, Isabelle Conrozier Kassovic depicts a colourful world where love rhymes with humour. Her terracotta works, all unique and faceless, are created in her studio in Le Rouret near Grasse. Les Demoiselles d'Isabelle, stylised female sculptures painted in acrylic, are created under the artistic signature of IcKasso, while the Classics Kassovic, classical female sculptures in bronze, display their sensuality with serenity.

Photographer Alexis-Louis Garnier, whose hobby is travelling the world, took visitors on a magnificent journey through photographs taken during his escapades across the United States - such as those taken in the heart of Manhattan - including New York's famous sciurus carolinensis squirrel, W 57th St and 7th Ave (New York), a superb sunset taken from the Brooklyn Bridge and Philadelphia's Finding Home Mural. Passionate about nature and animals, Alexis has travelled the length and breadth of the Arctic Circle in complete autonomy. From his journey he has brought back some magnificent photos, including one of a family of reindeer taken 300 metres away under a garden tarpaulin.
